The first week of 2026 brings a significant update to RedirMe. Three major features have landed that address some of the most common requests from users: better mobile support, integrated help tickets, and a proper QR code editor. Here’s what’s new and why it matters.
Managing links on the go
The dashboard has been completely redesigned for smaller screens. Rather than simply shrinking the desktop interface, the mobile experience now feels purpose-built for phones and tablets.
The navigation transforms into a slide-out drawer that appears when you tap the menu button, giving you full access to all features without eating into your screen space. Analytics tabs scroll horizontally with shortened labels that make sense at a glance. Buttons throughout the interface have been enlarged and spaced properly for touch input, and forms stack vertically instead of cramming multiple fields onto one row.
These changes have been implemented throughout the user dashboard. Whether you’re checking click statistics during your commute or managing redirects from a tablet at a client meeting, the interface now adapts to how you’re actually using it.
Getting help without leaving the dashboard
A new support system is now built directly into RedirMe. Instead of hunting for an email address or filling out a contact form on a separate page, you can create a support ticket from within your dashboard and track the entire conversation in one place.
The interface looks and feels like a modern messaging app. You write your question, see when the support team has read it, and receive replies in a threaded conversation. If you reply to a ticket that’s been marked as resolved, it automatically reopens without you needing to do anything extra.
For users who need to know before they write, a status indicator shows whether support is currently online and roughly how long you might expect to wait for a response. Email notifications keep you informed of updates even when you’re not logged in, so you won’t miss replies.
This approach keeps everything in context. No more searching through your inbox trying to find what you wrote three weeks ago about that redirect that wasn’t working. The full history lives alongside the rest of your account.
Designing QR codes that actually look good
The new QR code editor goes well beyond generating a basic black-and-white square. You can now customise every aspect of how your QR codes look before downloading them.
The editor supports nine different data types. Beyond standard URLs, you can create QR codes for WiFi network credentials, contact cards in vCard format, email compositions with pre-filled subjects, SMS messages, phone numbers, calendar events, and geographic locations. Each type has its own form with all the relevant fields.
On the design side, you can choose from six different dot patterns ranging from classic squares to rounded dots and elegant diagonal cuts. Corner squares and corner dots can be styled separately. Colours are fully customisable for the foreground, background, and corners, with a set of presets for quick selection or a full colour picker for precise control.
Error correction levels let you balance between data capacity and resilience. If you plan to add a logo over part of the QR code, higher error correction ensures it still scans reliably even with some visual obstruction.
The real time-saver is the template system. Once you’ve created a design you like, save it as a template and apply it to future QR codes with a single click. This keeps your brand consistent across all your materials without recreating the same settings every time.
A live preview updates as you make changes, so you can see exactly what you’re creating before downloading. Export options include PNG at various sizes and SVG for print work that needs to scale perfectly.
What’s next
These features are available now for all RedirMe users. If you’re already using the service, log into your dashboard to try them out. The mobile improvements apply automatically, support tickets are accessible from the navigation menu, and the QR code editor has its own section.
If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s never been a better time to create an account. The core features remain free, and these additions make the service considerably more useful for day-to-day link management.
We’re starting 2026 with momentum, and more improvements are already in development. Keep an eye on this blog for updates.
